Why does the chat widget or Knowledge Base look broken?

What “broken” might look likeYou may notice:
  • The chat widget doesn’t appear at all.
  • Images or icons inside the widget don’t load.
  • Knowledge Base pages load partially or only show content after a refresh.​
These issues are often related to Content Security Policy (CSP) or aggressive browser extensions.​
Quick checks
  1. Refresh the page – sometimes cached scripts need a reload.
  2. Try another browser – if it works there, the issue may be with plugins in your main browser.
  3. Temporarily disable ad‑blockers or privacy extensions for the site and reload.
If you manage the site (for admins)If you’re hosting the AYEYE site yourself and see:
  • Widget images not loading.
  • KB articles failing to load fully.
Your site’s Content Security Policy may be blocking tawk.to resources. tawk.to recommends adding their domains to your CSP img-src and connect-src directives so the widget and KB can load correctly.​

When to report itIf you’re a visitor and things still look broken after a refresh and browser change:
  • Capture a screenshot if you can.
  • Send it through the chat widget (if available) or via the contact link.
  • Include your browser, device, and a short description of what you see (e.g., “KB article text missing, only header shows”).
